of stiff fabrics that add bulk Try and choose styles that give the illusion of having a waist Shorten your skirts Yes you heard me right the more leg that shows the taller and slimmer you will look On the knee or just below is your most flattering A straight skirt worn with your longer top will give the illusion of lengthening your shorter body and making the most of your main asset your slimmer lower body and gorgeous legs Straight trousers are also your style Kick pleats and the trumpet flared around the bottom style skirts for evening suit your body shape well Wide leg pants are lovely in the evening if your are tall Keep necklaces long and simple A stylish pendant or several chains worn together or colourful beads to co ordinate with your outfit Belts worn lower can be worn on the hips to lengthen a short body but I normally suggest they be worn under a jacket so that a pretty buckle adds interest to an outfit without emphasizing a thick waist A larger sized handbag is more flattering a small bag might not be in proportion to your striking stature Have fun with shoes especially with your shorter skirt style A heel without ankle straps will give you a taller elegant look Scarves are a great to update a look and add softness and interest when worn vertically bringing the attention to the face and away from the challenge area Link Colours in Harmony Debbie x September 23 2014 No Comments 0 Are you an Apple shape figure PREVIOUS POST NEXT POST Debbie Albrecht About me YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE Leave a comment Your email address will not be published Required fields are marked Cancel Debbie Albrecht Welcome to Colours Plus I am an

  • WHY YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR | Colours plusColours plus
how you feel at the moment paying little attention to how the item will fit into your wardrobe Shopping without a plan will either set you up to buy more than you planned because you don t have anything to wear with it or it will be left in your wardrobe never to be worn Buying without trying clothes on is another recipe for disaster Inevitably what happens is most of the time the clothes don t fit and you are left to take them back to the store which most times never happens The good thing about trying clothes on before you buy is not only will you get a chance to know if you really like it you can find other items that will match before you leave the store Shopping on the run Scheduling a time to shop will alleviate the problem of not feeling you have enough time to try on clothes and then buying without trying them on Shop when you are well rested you have a few hours allotted you re wearing comfortable clothing that s easy to take on and off and you know what you re looking for Buying based on price is a mistake I see many women make A discount is not a discount but instead wasted money if you buy an item that you ll never wear because it doesn t match anything you have it s not the right fit many times women overlook flaws because of the price it s the wrong colour it s not your style or it s not something you have occasion to wear It s of much more value to choose items based on your colours and style body shape clothing personality and your lifestyle Buying without knowing your personal style leaves
