  • Honest days work
at Whale Oil Beef Hooked I know there is an election next month but I would far rather hear about how they are going to make New Zealand a better place than what nicknames they have for each other Although some are mildly amusing The above Blog site is of course an interesting play on words especially if said quickly with an Irish accent I really think these people should get over it and do some real work I mean Far Canal Another play on words Gregor Trackbacks 0 Permalink Previous Next Recent Posts Could be alot worse off Daffodil day Local Talent McDonalds new burger the McCaw Latest News Office Extension Underway New Dairy Farming Technology Milk must have a future Liquid Ammonium Sulphate Winters not over yet Humour from Molloyag Tags Competitions Competitions 1 Archive October 2015 1 August 2015 4 July 2015 4 June 2015 5 May 2015 6 Agri Comments Best Advice Welcome to Agri Comments where we regularly profile one of our customers every few months This time around we meet Clibborn farms More here Archive Hamish and Vicki Mee More here Pip and Dean Pye More here Agri View Our Blog Could be alot

  • Septoria - The Risk
drilling later although for most this happened by default due to the wet spell in Autumn Despite this early drilled crops are already showing the presence of Septoria particularly susceptible cultivars but also those that are stated to have levels of resistance At the seminar we heard of the issues experienced in the UK and the levels of resistance they are seeing would appear to be far worst than is currently being experienced in NZ They are still widely using Chlorothalonil Bravo as part of their programme but the use of this product is not supported in NZ because it contains HCB a compound that can be taken up by stock and cause residue issues in meat and milk So to try to combat Septoria going forward fungicide strategies will need to change from the practices that have been used in the past There will be more extensive use of SDHI s and fungicide programmes will need to be more robust and preventative focused at earlier growth stages Gary Trackbacks 0 Permalink Previous Next Recent Posts Could be alot worse off Daffodil day Local Talent McDonalds new burger the McCaw Latest News Office Extension Underway New Dairy Farming Technology Milk must have a future Liquid Ammonium Sulphate Winters not over yet Humour from Molloyag Tags Competitions Competitions 1 Archive October 2015 1 August 2015 4 July 2015 4 June 2015 5 May 2015 6 Agri Comments Best Advice Welcome to Agri Comments where we regularly profile one of our customers every few months This time around we meet Clibborn farms More here Archive Hamish and Vicki Mee More here Pip and Dean Pye More here Agri View Our Blog Could be alot worse off David Molloy 02 Oct 2015 Daffodil day David Molloy 28 Aug 2015 Local Talent David Molloy
